Western Province Table Tennis team scored a runaway victory over the touring Hanzhou Table Tennis team from China at the S. Thomas' College Indoor Stadium tables.
Sri Lanka skipper Rohan Sirisena led the way with two victories while the rest of the Western Province paddlers won their respective matches as the Chinese failed to live up to their reputation losing all the matches of the tour.
Huang Jianjun, Chen Xiaoyuan and Wang Uanhua were the only Chinese players to give the Lankans a fight as their matches went to the wire against Hansani Piumila, Chamatsara Fernando and Thisas Ranchagoda respectively.
