Seylan Bank beat MAS Holdings 3-1 to clinch the Men’s Division 'A' title of the Mercantile Knockout Table Tennis Championship 2017 held at the S. Thomas’ College Indoor Stadium in Mt. Lavinia.
However MAS Holding earned major honours of the tournament by winning three championships and emerging runners-up in the Men's Division 'A' final.
MAS Holdings won the Women's Division 'A', Women's Division 'B' and Men's Division 'C' titles
The tournament was conducted by the Mercantile Table Tennis Association (MTTA) and was held on September 14 and 15.
A total of 51 teams representing 23 companies from the mercantile sector participated in the Men’s and Women’s categories.
