The Travel Trade Sports Club’s (TTSC) multi Sports Events Calendar 2016 will gather momentum in the month of September with three events.
On September 4, the TTSC will hold a 'double', the Badminton and the Table Tennis Championships at S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia Indoor Sports Complex.
The 21st Badminton Championships is sponsored by Serendib Leisure Hotels for the sixth year.
The second Table Tennis Championships, revived after almost two decades is sponsored by Viluxur Holidays for the first time.
The third event, the most popular, Softball Cricket 'Sixes', scheduled to be held on September 11 at the Shalika ground and one other selected venue.
The 32nd edition is once again co-sponsored by Aitken Spence Travels.
Entries have been called for the Badminton and Table Tennis from the TTSC Member firms (now standing at 150) and will close on Monday (29) with the General Secretary, TTSC, Anushka Perera, C/o Connaissance de Ceylan, Level 8-1, East Tower, WTC , Echelon Square, Colombo 1.
The entries for the Softball Cricket 'Sixes' will be called shortly.
