Top seed Sharmal Dissanayake outclassed third seeded Sankha Athukorala to retain the Men’s Open Singles title convincingly in the final of the 102nd National Tennis Championship at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo on Saturday (12).
Dissanayake cruised through to victory with identical scores of 6-0, 6-0 in the three-set finale.
Athukorala, who earlier won the Men's Open Doubles title with Yasitha de Silva, aimed for a double but Dissanayake proved he was the best.
