Sri Lanka qualified for the World Team Cup Wheelchair Tennis Championship after beating Malaysia 2-0 in the Asian Qualifiers played at Kuala Lumpur.
Sri Lanka, playing in Pool 1, beat China 2-1 and followed it up by beating Australia 2-1 to finish off as group winners, before meeting hosts Malaysia in the qualifier.
The Sri Lanka team was represented by D.M. Gamini, R.A.L.S. Ranaweera, D.S.R. Dharmasena and coached by Jagath Welikala.
