War heroes who lost their limbs during the three-decade long civil war will be in action at the 4th Negombo Open Tennis Championship which will be held in Negombo from March 16 to 18. The Negombo Open, this year’s first international wheelchair tennis tournament will be held in Negombo. It will be followed by the 8th Sri Lanka Open to be held at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association hard courts in Colombo from March 20 to 22 and the 6th SSC Open to be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club courts from March 24 to 26. Both Men’s and Women’s events will feature in all these events where the prize money will be $2000 per event.
