After experiencing a rather disastrous first day, the Sri Lanka Under-18 Girls' Rugby team impressed with two inspiring wins on the second day of the Asian Under-18 Girls Rugby Tournament in Dubai on Thursday (1).
Sri Lanka Under-18 girls overcame Uzbekistan by 14-5 and carried on with their winning momentum to beat United Arab Emirates by 19-5 after losing four of their first round games on Wednesday (30).
On the first day they lost to India by 0-29, Kazakhstan by 0-31, Hong Kong by 0-24 and Uzbekistan by 5-14, before revamping their approach to the competition.
