U-19 Cricket: SLC names Sri Lanka squad for 3-Day game against Australia

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) released the Sri Lanka Under-19 squad for the upcoming 3-Day match against Australia Under-19, which will begin on Thursday (10) at the SSC, in Colombo.

The Sri Lanka Under-19s will be led by Nipun Dananjaya, from St. Joseph Vas Colleg, Wennappuwa. 

The side mostly includes players from outstations, and is dominated by Richmond College, Galle. 

Australia won the Youth ODI series 2-1 played prior to the longer version of the game. 

Sri Lanka Under-19 squad: Nipun Dananjaya (Capt/St. Joseph Vas College), Kamil Mishara (Royal College, Colombo), Sonal Dinusha Gamage (Mahanama College, Colombo), Ashian Angelo Daniel (St. Joseph’s College, Colombo), Rohan Sanjaya (Tissa Centeral College, Kalutara), Dilum Sudheera Thilakarathna (Richmond College), Vijayakanth Viyaskanth (Jaffna Central College), Sadun Tharaka Mendis (Richmond College), Chamindu Piyamal Wijesinghe (Nalanda College), Ruvin Chandisa Peries (Trinity College, Kandy), Chihan Kalindu (St. Servatius College, Matara), Thaveesha Abhishek Kahaduwaarachchi (Richmond College), Dilshan Madushanka (Vijayaba National School, Hungama), Mohamed Shamaaz (Zahira College, Colombo), Paven Rathnayake (Mahanama College, Colombo)
