After trailing at halftime by one point, St. Peter's College bounced back to record a stunning 27-21 win against Isipathana College in a Singer Schools Rugby League Championship match played at Bambalapitiya on Saturday (15).
Isipathana led the halftime by 21-20 but were thwarted of scoring any points in the second half as St. Peter's scored from a converted try to seal the game.
St. Peter's scored from three converted tries and two penalties.
Isipathana scored from three converted tries, which came in during the first half.
The win keeps St. Peter's alive for the title race along with Royal College and St. Joseph’s College.
