Kingswood College survived fierce late rally from Zahira College before recording a thrilling 19-14 victory in their Inter-Schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament Plate Segment encounter played at Maradana on Saturday (22).

Kingswood did all the scoring in the first half as they built up a commanding 19-0 lead at half time, while collecting their points from three tries and a conversion.

Zahira came into the second half with a splendid all-round performance to reduce the margin to just five points, as they scored from two converted tries.
