St. Peter's College recorded a smashing 43-7 win against D.S. Senanayake College in a first round match of the Singer Schools League Division I Rugby Championship played at Havelock Park today (21).
The Peterites led 26-7 at halftime and made their task easy by adding more points while thwarting their opponents from scoring in the second half.
The winners scored from seven tries and four conversions.
DSS's solitary converted try came in the first half.
