A spectacular try by Isipathana College during extra time helped the defending champions earn a stunning 29-28 win against St. Anthony's College in the third quarterfinal match of the Milo Schools Under-20 Knockout Rugby Championship played for the President's Trophy on Monday (12).
Isipathana were trailing 24-28 in the final few minutes of the game before they turned tables on the Antonians.
The winners collected their points from five tries and two conversions.
St. Anthony's, who led at halftime by 15-12 and dominated the game right throughout, scored from four tries, a conversion, a penalty and a drop goal.
