Isipathana College had to undergo tremendous resistance before earning a thrilling 25-24 against low ranked D.S. Senanayake College in a Singer Schools Under-20 Rugby League Championship match played at Havelock Park on Wednesday (7).
At halftime Isipathana led 17-12 before they ran out winners with a tally of four tries, a conversion and a penalty.
D.S. Senanayake made good work in their first outing of the season but failed by a point after scoring from four tries and two conversions.
