The Milo Inter-School Under-20 Knockout Rugby Championship will begin from Friday (9) in Colombo without the League Championship winners Royal College.
Royal have pulled out of the tournament at the eleventh hour citing injury concerns to their players resulting Dharmaraja College Kandy an open passage to semi-finals.
The main tournament, the President's Trophy, will be competed among seven teams as a result.
League runners-up Isipathana, Trinity, Wesley, St. Joseph's, St. Peter's, St. Anthony's and Dharmaraja colleges will be the seven teams competing in the President's Trophy.
All matches from quarter-finals of the President's, Premier and Chairman trophies, running up to semi-finals and the finals of the two lower segments will be played at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
The President's Trophy final will be played on June 24 at the Racecourse ground.
