The Vijayabahu Motocross organized by the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment together with the Sri Lanka Racing Riders Association will be held on August 25, 2019 for the 17th consecutive year at the Vijayabahu infantry regiment premises in Boyagane, Kurunegala.
This year's event will feature challenging tracks prepared in optimum standards against the backdrop of the natural landscape of the historic recreation of the Ethugalpura Kingdom.
Funds raised from previous Motorcross events have been utilized in the construction of houses for the members of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, providing infrastructure facilities for officers and other ranks, awarding scholarships and donation of computers for the children of the members of Vijayabahu infantry regiment to support their studies.
This year’s event will also see funds being utilized for welfare and social development activities.
