Sri Lanka will be represented by two teams – men and women – at the Asian under 21 Beach Volleyball Tournament to be held in Thailand from March 2 to 4.
The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation has taken this decision and currently both teams have been chosen and are currently in training at the Heyantuduwa NYSC Training Centre.
The men’s team: D.K. Ranga Prabath, J.L. Ashen Rashmikha, Tharindu Madusanka and P.G. Miharanga Udayakumara. Coach: M.J. Mahesh Perera.
The women’s team: Hasini Malsha Priyamali, Thariki Nelum Priyadarshani, Shehani Asanga and Ramesha Madusdhani Peiris. Coach: K.A. Sajith Nandasiri.
The Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation has also appointed four coaches – Junior and Senior – for the 2017, 2018 Beach Volleyball Tournaments.
The senior men’s coach is Prasanna Udayakumara.
The women’s coach is Priyantha Rajapakse.
The junior men’s coach is Mahesh Perera the women’s junior coach is Sajith Nandasiri.
