Trinity College weightlifters stamped their class at the All-Island Schools Weightlifting Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Weightlifting Power Lifting Strength Building Federation which took place at Aranayake.
Trinity won nine Gold, two Silver, and two Bronze medals.

Under-16: Abidh Jameel (56kg category), Missaka Wickramasekara (85kg category), Yahadasun Ratnayake (94kg category)
Under-18: Reshan Karawita (69kg category), Esanda Bodhinarayana (94kg category), S Ladhushagar (105kg category)
Under-20: Nadupa Jayakody (62kg category), Kevin Gamage (77kg category), Prabash Jayasooriya (105kg category)
Silver Medal
Under-20: Malith Mayadunne (69kg category), Oshen Gunawardena (85kg category)
Bronze Medal
Under-18: Shanna Kamburugamuwa (62kg category), Damien Tennakoon (105+ kg category)
