The first meeting of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Election law Reforms, headed by Leader of the House and Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, was held at the Parliament complex on 17 May.
Cabinet Mnisters Nimal Siripala De Silva, Prof G.L. Pieris, M.U.M Ali Sabri, State Ministers Jeevan Thondaman, MPs Kabir Hasheem, Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Mano Ganeshan, M.A, Sumanthiran, Madura Vithanage and Sagara Kariyawasam participated at the meeting.
