The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) acquired a Dornier 228 Maritime Patrol from the Indian Naval Fleet, enhancing the maritime surveillance capabilities of Sri Lanka. President Ranil Wickremesinghe attended the event to receive the craft at Katunayake.
