President Ranil Wickremesinghe on Wednesday (22) informed Parliament that Sri Lanka had secured a USD 3 billion Extended Fund Facility from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He called on all parties to unite irrespective of political differences to assist in implementing the IMF agreement.

Litro Gas Lanka has announced plans to slash the prices of gas with effect from midnight tomorrow (June 04), according to the Chairman and CEO of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd Muditha Peiris.
The Minister of Power and Energy, Kanchana Wijesekera said that action would be taken against the fuel shed owners who did not place orders from May 27 to 31, 2023 in view of the fuel price review.
