Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, delivered a speech on the “ State of the Economy and Talks with the IMF” at an event organised by the Sri Lanka Press Institute. The event was held on May 23rd, 2022 at the Blue of the Hilton Colombo.
The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
