First dose of the Sinopharm vaccin continues to be rolled out in many centres in Colombo and the Army is helping in some centrs. The doctor at one of the centrs explains that they had to turn back people and ask them to go to other centres as they ran out of stock. His advice is for people to go to less crowded centres rather than going to the closest centre.
The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
