The National Zoological gardens at Dehiwala has decided carry out the foster care programs and the new programs as measures to reduce expenditure of the Zoological garden and secure the needs of the animals.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
