Inter University Students Union organised a protest campaign yesterday (21) in front of the Fort Railway Station against the Kotalawala Private University enactment and other moves to privatise education as well as against military involvement in education.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
