The Api Sri Lanka movement led by former President Chandrika Kumaratunga and several other political parties and civil society groups signed an agreement today to form the Democratic National Front (DNF) alliance in a bid to back New Democratic Front Presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa at the upcoming Presidential election. The video features PM Wickremesinghe addressing the gathering as well as Mr Premadasa.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
