K.A. Thilakaratne, former Director General of Pensions stated over 100, 000 persons had retired from the Government Service between 2016-2019 and they are all severely affected by the pension anomalies that have arisen due to the decision by the new Government not to implement Public Administration Circular 35/2019 (I) which he said is aimed at resolving the pension anomaly issue.
