Kuwait’s new Emir, Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Sabah, has been officially sworn in by parliament to commence his rule over the Gulf monarchy.
The new Emir, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah, took office during a special session of the National Assembly after the passing of his half-brother.
