The Principal of a boarding school and four members of the tutorial staff have been arrested over the rape of a 15-year old student at Dehradun school in Northern India.
As of now, four male students have been held responsible for the rape which left the girl pregnant. Meanwhile, the teachers have been accused of covering up the assault.
Police say that a medical examination revealed that the girl was raped.
"We have registered a case of gang rape, criminal conspiracy and have charged the school's officials for causing disappearance of evidence," police officer Naresh Rathore told the BBC.
The Times of India reports license of the school has also been canceled following the incident.
