Hoardings are being taken down in Thummulla in preparation for the upcoming SAARC Summit to be held in Colombo. However, hoardings advertising government announcements seem to be exempt from this measure while the hoardings that are taken down have been given the green light by the CMC to be re-erected after the Summit closes as the money paid by the companies to the CMC have not been refunded.
