CSE - bad example of Corporate Governance

The Companies Act and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) Listing Rules requires the Annual Report of a company to be made available to shareholders within six months of the financial year end.

However the CSE has taken more than six months to release its own Annual Report for 2007. As a regulatory institution it should have set a better example to the listed companies.
So much for good corporate governance !
