SAARC SAARC go away so that we can cross again!

Pedestrian crossings in certain places on Colombo roads have been removed to discourage people from crossing the roads at those points to ensure smooth VIP movement during the upcoming SAARC summit. The picture above shows the yellow lines covered by tar while the picture below shows a road sign indicating a pedestrian crossing being removed and kept lying on the roadside near the Colombo Public Library.
