TOPCIMA is the challenging final assessment which is based upon a Case study and set within a simulated business context. It is an exam that requires the student to apply Strategic Management Accounting Techniques to make and support decisions. TOPCIMA attempts to test the higher learning skills of the candidate. Minimum of three mock exams should be held during the session and the marked paper discussed with the students. Students should be also given home work and the answers should be discussed in the class.

Detail discussions should be held with selected past paper questions and lots of questions and answers regarding the Case should be carried out.

The session should be wound up well ahead of the examination and communications via email should be provided to enable students to clarify doubts and provide further information.
