As a part of the Bank's commitment towards saving the environment, Nations Trust Bank renewed its campaign to go paper free by requesting customers to switch to e-statements.
Commenting on this initiative, Renuka Fernando DGM Consumer Banking at Nations Trust Bank PLC said, "We are committed towards making significant changes that will help in our efforts at Conservation. We hope that our customers will embrace this cause and opt for an e statement as opposed to the standard monthly paper statement."
In the spirit of the effort, the Bank will donate Rs100/- to the Wild Life and Nature Protection Society for every customer who chooses to go green. The Wild Life Nature Protection Society has the distinct recognition of being one of the oldest environment focused non-governmental organizations in the country. The proceeds from the Bank will go towards a tree planting campaign.
