A courier service must identify the customer needs and execute delivery on time at a competitive rate for such services to be successful, said Ms Leoni Cuelenaere, Netherlands Ambassador in Sri Lanka at the occasion of TNT Express (Courier Service) moving to its new office at 435 Galle Road Colombo 3, last week.
She said that TNT Express of the Netherlands has a proven track record for excellence with operations in 65 countries and deliveries to 200 destinations. Business depend on these capabilities and individuals experience that special joy of receiving a delivery from friends in far off places.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, TNT provides businesses and consumers worldwide with an extensive range of services for their mail and express delivery needs. Ken Thomas founded TNT in Australia in 1946 with one truck and over the years it has grown to be a business proposition with over 43 aircraft and 26,000 ground vehicles.
Mohan Perera, Vice President, Aitken Spence Cargo and Country General Manager, TNT, Sri Lanka said that the spacious new facility allows TNT to enhance its processes to further improve on their service delivery to customers. He said that a better environment and the right tools will enable TNT staff to provide better solutions in the future.
