Dialog offers VRS to executives, management grades

Dialog Telekom said on Tuesday that it has offered a Voluntary Resignation Scheme (VRS) for executive and management grades in the company under a comprehensive cost cutting exercise. In an explanation to the Colombo Stock Exchange which had sought clarification on newspaper reports of a VRS, the company said the VRS is uniformly available to all employees in these grades.

“Costs arising from this scheme, which are dependant on the number of employees applying for the scheme will be duly reported (to the Exchange) and the general public,” it said.
