‘Jetwing-Hayleys ties under strain …’

With reference to the story headlined “Jetwing-Hayleys ties under strain over Lighthouse Hotel”, which appeared in last week’s issue, Hayleys Director Richard Ebell referring to the comment attributed to him that the recent purchase of a 7% stake in Lighthouse Hotel by Jetwing would not trigger a mandatory offer, says that “I didn’t offer an opinion on whether or not a mandatory offer would be triggered by this purchase.”
