JKH director Sumithra to retire

John Keells Holdings (JKH) executive director Sumithra Gunasekera is taking early retirement from the group on June 30, 2009 on reaching 55 years, the company announced on Tuesday.

It said that Mr Gunasekera was exercising his option of an early retirement to ‘focus on personal matters that requires his focused attention’. He is retiring from all the boards of the group where he is a director.
