Academic, Professional and Personal Standards
Upon entering pharmacy school, students become members of the pharmacy community, which is one of America's most respected professions.
In fact, a national survey has listed pharmacists as No. 2 on the list of health care providers who are trusted and respected by the public. While studying pharmacy, the student is able to enjoy the special privileges that go along with such professional membership. Society extends these privileges to those individuals who have proven themselves to be competent in the technical aspects of professional service and, at the same time, expects them to accept the accountability that goes along with the status of a profession, especially in meeting the high academic, professional and personal standards that are required for service to society.
