A: Hi Udari
Knowing what you want to be is a critical first step to success also this has to be balanced with competence and practicality. I suggest you start at the bottom and take the initial phase as a learning process which will include a healthy balance between getting a qualification and experience. However the critical question is the recognition, you need to find if the prospective employers will recognize the qualification. If it's recognized then you should continue.
I also see a hidden problem, where you are cluttered in what you want to do with your life, I suggest that you do a critical check on winning areas and loosing areas.
Students get into a study option due to the following reasons:
- Forced by the parents
- Due to friends following the course
- Objective choice
I will take wild guess that it is either of the first two, if this is the case you need to make a go no go decision and select the option that best suits your Vision.
Based on the assumption that you select the HR option as first step you may need to seek a job in HR , you could also consider working in a consultancy house where they do specific consultancy projects in HR.
Your journey is not going to be Tutti Fruity, Identify the Gaps in your skill set, seek opportunities to build your skills and then go on to Dominate. Remember competitive advantage has a very short shelf life. Write to me with your decision.
