Ceylon Hotels Corporation has launched a new package for its popular destinations around the country.
The new room rate ranging from Rs. 700/- to 2000/- will be available during the holiday season.
Tissa Rest House with 52 rooms have introduced with a new rate of Rs 1300/-, while Kithulgala with 19 rooms have a very attractive rate of Rs 1500/- per double room. Ella Grand Motel has 14 room and the new price is Rs 1700/- and Belihuloya with 14 rooms go for Rs. 1200/-. Polonnaruwa Rest House and Seruwa are priced at Rs. 2000/- and 900/- respectively. Bay Inn in Weligama is rated at Rs 700/-, while Sigiriya has anew price at Rs 1000/-.
‘Habarana, Dambulla, Ambepussa, Mihintale and Pussellawa too have very attractive packages’ said Ranjith Balasuriya , the Group sales manager of CHC.
Meanwhile Queens Hotel Kandy, an affiliate of the Galle Face Hotel group plans to introduce an innovative package for local and foreign tourists visiting Kandy during the Esala festival, from July 27 to August 5.
A concessionary package has been organised by the management for both domestic and overseas tourists which entitles them to enjoy breakfast, lunch and lodging facilities at discounted prices. Free transport to the festival site is also included.
The management is planning to provide similar concessions at the Suisse Hotel Kandy as well. Special promotional packages will be available for both domestic and overseas tourists during this time period.
‘CHC has a special arrangements during the August Holiday Season. New attractive packages will be introduced during the later part of the month’ Mr Balasuriya said.
