The lover, the wife and the sister – three strong women in Noel Richards’ life...and death! Noel, the ‘alpha male’ in this tribe of women, which also includes his little daughter, seems to enjoy being the ‘master’ of the women in his life. That is, of course, until he’s found death one morning, with fifteen stab wounds to his chest and neck!
A nameless inspector summons the usual suspects to find the Noel’s killer, but discovers that each of these women seems to have secrets and motives. The question is which of them had the greatest motive. The unwelcome arrival of a storm doesn’t help the investigation. Could the murderess be Avanti– the lover, or Therese- the wife, or Chamaine – the sister? Indeed, in the world of film noir, the sultry vamp, the devoted wife and the eccentric sister seem to be recognisable archetypes.
So, who really killed Noel Richards? And will they go on to commit the crime a second time? Find out from this September, when CentreStage Productions presents the ‘cunningly wicked whodunit, Stormy Weather. The production is written and directed by Jehan Aloysius.
