The Airport Services office of Emirates at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, was moved to a more spacious location recently on the first floor of the new Departure area, the airline said.
The new office occupies 1680 square feet, more than double the space of the previous office, and has several new features including a separate visitors’ reception area and its own conference room.
The formal opening of the new office was attended by several VIPs including Prasanna Wickremasooriya, Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services and Parakrama Dissanayake, Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Emirates was represented at the event by P. K. Sadasivan, the airline’s Regional Manager Airport Services – West Asia, Indian Ocean and Sub Saharan Africa, Chandana de Silva, Emirates Area Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives and Emirates Airport Services Manager Ravi Weliwita. |
