Following in the footsteps of this summer's successful Hikkaduwa Beach Festival, the beachside town of Negombo is gearing up for its own festival called 'Feel Negombo 2009' from 11 to 13 December. According to Sri Lanka Tourism, Negombo will be brought to life with fun filled entertainment and water sports activities for the whole family. 'Age is simply no barrier to the possibilities!'
People can expect to lounge on boat and catamaran rides, explore the waters through snorkeling and diving, jet ski, play paint ball and wind surf. Negombo will also be lit up by a street parade and drum illustration on the 11th, a beach party on the 12th and a family beach bonfire party on the 13th. |
