Motorists in 22 cities across Sri Lanka could get their vehicle battery stabilized when they are in trouble by just calling Browns BattMobile on their hotline 0777 714714 between 7 am to 7 pm, the company announced this week. Brown Exide announced the launch of their 25 fully operational BatMobiles to provide the public with on the spot assistance for all their vehicle battery needs.
The cities where BattMobiles will be operational are Colombo, Allauwa, Aluthgama, Ambalantota, Ampara, Battaramulla, Delgoda, Dikwella, Embilipitiya, Homagama, Ja-Ela, Kalutara, Kandana, Kandy, Kotte, Kurunegala, Moratuwa, Narammala, Negombo, Peliyagoda, and Ratmalana.
The BattMobile teams are capable of stabilizing any brand of battery irrespective of manufacturer and type and they will be of service to anyone calling for assistance, officials told a press briefing. They said the Exide brand commands almost 50% in the automobile battery market in Sri Lanka. As a category the Browns Group owns almost 60 % of the automotive battery market and Exide batteries are also available through 400 dealer outlets island wide.
