Operational and management levels

The team at Imperial College for the Operational and Management Levels include 3 outstanding lecturers, who head each pillar, namely Pravinth Rajaratam (Financial Pillar), Gino Jeyanayagam (Performance Pillar) and Indika Liyanahewage (Enterprise Pillar). More importantly these are lecturers who have coached many students to be high -flyers not only in Sri Lanka but also in South East Asia and India.

Students are assured of comprehensive syllabus coverage one month ahead of examinations. Further, Students are provided with examination type mock papers that are marked and one to one feedback provided. Students benefit from a comprehensive revision plan which comprises of approximately 20 hours per subject.

During this revision lecturers lead students through significant areas of the syllabus that examiners find important in addition to practicing several pastpapers. Students also gain with the provision of extra question practice classes to ensure thorough knowledge and exam preparedness.

Our approach to the strategic level

Under the new syllabus, the preseen case study is common to all 3 Strategic Level subjects. Hence it is of utmost importance that you are equipped with the right knowledge, skills and competencies to embark upon this level.

You will receive exemplary tutoring and analysis of the case study, ensuring that you will be confident at examinations and have the highest chance of being successful.

It is important to note that though the preseen case study is common, the unseen material will be based on individual scenarios relevant to each subject, this makes it of paramount importance that students are exposed to expertise from all 3 subjects. We have formulated an exceptional team of lecturers who have immense expertise in their respective fields, enabling them to contribute significantly to the analysis of the preseen material. This exceptional team comprises Pravinth Rajaratnam, Usama Jiffry and Lasantha Wijeweera.

These individuals possess several years in teaching their respective subject areas backed by vast industry experience which results in students getting unsurpassed support. The team is headed by Pravinth Rajaratnam, an experienced and vastly popular lecturer. Pravinth has broad experience in teaching the Financial Pillar and is also well versed with Performance Strategy (Risk & Control Strategy) and Enterprise Strategy (Business Strategy). Having been involved with lecturing TOPCIMA and analysing numerous case studies, he is best equipped to lead the team.

Usama Jiffry

Specialising in lecturing Performance Strategy (Risk & Control Strategy), Usama has extensive corporate experience in Valuation and Transaction Services. His success over 2 years of teaching this subject has built up an unrivalled reputation. He has an ability to add practicality to theory in order to make the subject matter easily understood.

Lasantha Wijeweera

Having being involved in diverse disciplines ranging from Financial Services, Technology, Production, Supply Chain Management and implementing Business Solutions for over 9 years, Lasantha specialises in lecturing Enterprise Strategy (Business Strategy). His academic and professional accomplishments give him an edge in teaching this diverse subject.

Their approach is simple but highly effective. Together they will ensure that the preseen material will be analysed in-depth, and develop a minimum of 2 scenarios for each subject ensuring that you are equipped with thorough knowledge to confidently sit the exam. Students will receive comprehensive syllabus coverage and are exposed to discussions on the right exam techniques to successfully combat this examination.
