SAITM, the South Asian Institute of Technology and Management is the first Green campus located in the suburbs of Colombo, with a vision to make Sri Lankan and regional youth enriched with professionalism and character. Dr. Neville Fernando, a veteran in many subjects including Medicine, Business, and Politics is the brainchild of this novel concept, brought into reality by investing 700 million of his personal funds to gift a glorious future for the youth.

Dr. Neville Fernando emphasizes the fact that the facilities available in this Institute which includes state-of-the-art classrooms, an auditorium with 450 seats, students' lounge spanning 10000 sq ft, etc will make the life of the students easy and fun to learn.
Academic staff and state-of-the-art facilities
Our academic staff is comprised of professors / senior lecturers from local universities recruited in line with the UGC guidelines and highly qualified overseas faculty members. SAITM has provided students spacious classrooms and high tech facilities to enable them to continue their studies in a free and friendly campus environment.
Study Medicine in Sri Lanka
SAITM is the Sri Lankan branch of the Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy of Russia. Students will have an opportunity to gain a highly recognized Medical degree for a lesser cost compared to the cost of studying overseas. This will definitely save a substantial amount of foreign exchange to the country .The duration of the Medicine programme delivered in the English medium is five years, four years of which will be spent at SAITM - the Multi Faculty Campus-Malabe.
Nizhny Novgorod medical degree has the recognition of the Sri Lanka Medical Council as an approved qualification. Nizhny Novgorod is one of the leading medical universities in Russia among the top 10 Medical colleges. Apart from that Word Health Organization, General Medical Council (GMC) -UK, Australian Medical Council (AMC), and Education Commission for foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)-USA recognizes the Nizhny Novgorod University. The academy is also included in the Annual reference book of Medical Institutions issued in Great Britain. There are 30,000 physicians who graduated from the university since its inception.

The SAITM diploma in Interactive Media is broad based and specializes on areas of interactive design for CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Web design and digital video and animation techniques. The SAITM diploma prepares you for a degree in Multimedia.
The Faculty of Interactive Media is equipped with Sri Lanka's largest iMac computer lab, high end multimedia PCs, on site mini studio and off site state-of-the-art studio.This faculty offers Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND) and a Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Media.
Information Technology
SAITM campus is affiliated with the University of Buckingham UK, to confer part time and full time IT degree programmes here in Sri Lanka. High tech laboratories and qualified and experienced staff recruited according to the UGC guidelines ensure the highest quality in delivery of programmes. SAITM degree programmes are affordable and the payment plans are flexible.
Bachelors Degree in Business Management
The South Asian Institute of Technology and Management offers a two year HND programme, the successful completion of which will qualify you to read for a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at the University of Wolverhampton(U of W) in the UK. It is a highly recognized University in UK. Department of Languages
SAITM conducts foreign language courses in English, French, German, Japanese and Korean. Students are now being registered for the Certificate and Diploma courses.
