Lakshman Silva

Lakshman Silva has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of DFCC Vardhana Bank (DVB) with effect from January 1, the bank said.

He was the Chief Operating Officer of the Bank from the inception of DFCC Vardhana Bank from August 2003, a subsidiary of the DFCC Bank and was also appointed as a Board Director of DVB in 2008. Mr. Silva who was born in the hill country obtained his education at St. Thomas’ College, Matale, and has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and a Bachelor of Commerce (Special) from the University of Kelaniya.
