Members of the Chamber of Young Lanka Entrepreneurs (COYLE) recently jointly contributed funds for educational needs of the children of war heroes. A press release stated that the official presentation of funds by individual members to Ioma Rajapaksha, Chairperson, Seva Vanitha Unit of the Ministry of Defence was held recently at a function followed by COYLE monthly General Meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga praised the COYLE members for the contributions made many times as and when the country needed help of the business community. The press release also stated that Chief Guest Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonatileke said it is the duty of the entrepreneurial community to rally together and work towards winning the economic war to rebuild Sri Lanka and develop the country as one of the leading economies in Asia.
