Hospital investments by Hemas

The Hemas Group in a letter this week said the company wished to clarify some points in the story headlined "Hemas - No more investments in hospitals" which appeared in the Business Times last week. It said:

"Hemas Hospitals is committed to improving and expanding its service offering and will continue to invest in Sri Lanka's hospital sector. Our immediate priority is to improve patient care at our Wattala and Galle hospitals through investments in staff and equipment. Once this phase is completed, we intend to roll-out our patient centric healthcare model to new sites across the country."
