Crocodile International- Singapore, the promoters of the 'Crocodile' brand apparel range recently joined hands with Junior Chamber International Foundation (JCI)-Wellawatta Sri Lanka for the second time in a project designed to donate 240 Wheelchairs costing Rs 3.6 million to the most deserving disabled based on a carefully designed selection procedure.
The company said that Isfanani Sameen, 1989 World President of Jaycees International was instrumental in making this project a possibility.
On previous occasion Jaycees International joined hands with Crocodile International to complete re-building of a tsunami affected school in Moratuwa at a cost of $ 330,000.00 ( Rs.33 million) which also won an Asia Pacific Award and a World Award.
Crocodile International is represented in Sri Lanka by Crocodile Lanka (Private) Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Emerald International (Private) Limited which was actively involved in this project as yet another one of its CSR projects. |
